Python Job: Experienced Python Developer

IT team

Within Ecorus Home we created our own ERP & ticketing system alongside other services to support our business activities. This is a Service Oriented Architecture and integrated with 3th parties. The IT team improves this IT landscape and has great challenges ahead.
As a Python Developer, you will become part of the Development team and play a role in developing innovative software. You come up with practical solutions to solve complex, abstract issues and translate them into reliable and maintainable software. Your tasks will be devided by 80% code developing and 20% integration. Part of your role is to use your creativity and skills to be a real contribution to the team. Thanks to you, the energy transition becomes an even better developed system.
In the position of IT developer you have a lot of ownership and control over the IT landscape. This is a great moment to join since we're recently decided on expanding the landscape and adding new feature.

IT stack

The landscape is built in Microservices where 90% of the backend is written in Python and 10% in PHP. Different databases are used like MySQL and PostgreSQL. The frontend is built in JavaScript.

Must haves

• 3+ years of proven experince in back-end development
• medior/senior Python level;
• Web development.

Nice to have

• Microservices landscape;
• Kubernetes;
• Docker;
• GIT;
• Experience with Django and FastAPI;
• Javascript (native, Vue.JS, JQuery, Typescript);
• PHP.

Ecorus Home

Home, located in Amsterdam, focuses within the Ecorus Group on housing cooperatives, where its mission is to completely unburden its customers and make a maximum contribution to the energy transition. We conclude framework contracts with housing cooperatives, take care of the advice of individual tenants and manage the solar power installations. We work with external installation partners. The Ecorus group is a true scale-up organization and that also applies to Home. Dynamic, innovative and increasingly an IT-driven organization. Home now has approximately 30 employees.
